Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has welcomed his colleague Bolanle Ninalowo following the latter’s recent appointment with President Tinubu. Ninalowo revealed that he has been named Coordinator of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) association in Atlanta, USA, a move that has garnered congratulatory messages from fans and peers alike.
In response, Yul Edochie took to social media to show his support, simply writing, “Welcome on board, brother.” His message reflects a growing trend among celebrities openly expressing confidence in the President’s administration.
Several notable figures have voiced their approval of Tinubu’s leadership. Yul himself praised the President for notable improvements, including increased power supply across many states and a reduction in terrorist attacks, calling him the Jagaban, a master strategist, and a silent achiever. Ubi Franklin highlighted Tinubu’s effectiveness, noting that while challenges persist, progress is underway.
Others, including Caroline Danjuma and Tonto Dikeh, have also publicly acknowledged the President’s initiatives, encouraging citizens to act wisely rather than resort to nationwide protests. Veteran actor Jide Kosoko emphasized that only those who understand nation-building can truly appreciate Tinubu’s work. Meanwhile, Toyin Abraham, despite backlash during and after the elections, reaffirmed her support, addressing the trolling and campaigns targeting her brands and projects.
The wave of celebrity endorsements underscores a broader conversation about governance, progress, and public perception, with Nollywood stars increasingly using their platforms to weigh in on national developments.
