Nigerian singer Portable has once again alarmed fans with a heartfelt post on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself on drip. In the caption, the Zazuu star simply wrote: “God bring me back to life,” sparking an outpouring of support and concern from followers.
Fans flooded the comments with messages of encouragement. One wrote, “Nothing go do you, my brother,” while another added, “The Lord is your strength, Ika of Africa.” Others reassured him, saying, “You coming back strong” and “Get well soon Fr Zeh,” showing the depth of his fanbase’s care.
This isn’t the first time Portable has faced serious health scares. In the past, he shared videos of himself on drips, expressing the pain he felt throughout his body and praying against untimely death. He later reassured fans that he was alive and that pain, not death, was what he was dealing with.
Portable’s struggles extend beyond health. In January 2024, he recounted a violent incident involving Nigerian-American singers, Esquare, who allegedly attacked him after a missed performance. Portable claimed he was beaten by around 40 people, leaving him with a broken leg. Esquare, however, disputed the story, giving their own version of the events.
Despite the challenges, Portable has tried to inspire his followers, often sharing motivational reflections. One of his well-known quotes reads: “When the pain is deep, go deeper in prayer.” His recent plea shows that even amid adversity, he leans on faith and resilience to navigate life’s trials.
Portable’s fans continue to rally around him, hoping for his full recovery and stronger days ahead.
